A Mother’s Intention: A Note to My Children

My Precious Children,

When sharing my thoughts or advice with you in regard to anything in your precious lives, my intention is never to push. My intentions are either to give you something to think about or to encourage you.

I realize that sometimes (maybe all the time) my intentions don’t come across and instead, I do come across as pushy — making the delivery overshadow the message.

I will try to be more aware of my delivery, remember how it might come across, and adjust as best I can.

It is a genuine fear of mine as a mother that I will come across that way with my children, so please know I will appreciate any of you pointing it out and being honest.

One day, Kate will know a mothers love. Michael, Matthew and Mitch, you will never…so you can only trust me! :)
